Discovery Time: That's Funny

In Discovery we have been learning about the HOM: That's Funny. We had lots of fun getting our faces painted.

Gerald the Giraffe and his daughter Geraldine

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Gerald's daughter Geraldine. She has been with us for a couple of weeks. Geraldine seems to be doing very well in room 2. She is even joining in the P.E lessons of Underarm Throwing. Geraldine finds this difficult but is Persisting :)

Our Great Giraffe Class Cultures

This week we have been learning about where our class are from and celebrating it. We learnt about Indian dance and made some pictures using glitter. We also learnt about the Polynesian culture. Turtles are a sacred creature and are a symbol of good luck. We used Pastels to colour our turtles in and painted over them with colourful dye.

Our Sea Creatures

We have been making sea creatures like Fish, Jellyfish and Lobsters. We have been writing about what we made and how we made them.
