HOM: Listening

In Discovery we had lots of fun doing different types of listening activities like Animal Sound Bingo, Creating a Listening Monster and Back to Back Listening/Drawing. It was AWESOME!!

Rhythm Interactive Visit

Rhythm Interactive came to Rowandale today…it was awesome! We used our listening skills we have been learning and focusing on listening to the drummers, Johnny and Lucy. We all had drums, we listened, then repeated the drum patterns they did.

Habit of Mind Focus from 02/06-13/06 Listening

The HOM we have been focusing on as a whole school is Listening. We have been doing lots of listening activities to help us understand what listening means and all the things we need to do to be great listeners. It is important to listen to help us learn.

Ronald McDonald Road Safety Visit

Ronald McDonald came to school on Monday to give an important message about road safety. We need to Stop, Look and Listen before we use our feet.

Dance for Asthma

All of the classes and teachers at Rowandale School did a dance for Asthma. It was great fun and raised awareness of the disease.

Environment Day

Environment Day was on Thursday 5th June. The Great Giraffes and Brilliant Butterflies made an environmental pledge to help protect the environment.
