Cook Island Language Week
Kia Orana = Hello "May you live long"
Ka Kite = Goodbye
We have been practising with friends and teachers in the playground.
Making a pare ei (Headband)
To start off Cook Island Week we all made a Pare ei (Headband). We got to choose some bright coloured flowers to stick on:
Making Pizza
Spreading the base
Adding the sauce
Fresh out of the oven
We read the book "The Little Red Hen". The moral of the story is that you should always use your HOM's like Working Together. That way you get to work together to EAT the pizza...YUM!! :)
